ERIC KAUFMAN
PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Eric Kaufman is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Solomon. Preceding his appointment to CEO, Eric was Chief Operating Officer of Solomon. In that role, he was responsible for Solomon’s operating plan and P&L across all business and product segments. He played an instrumental role in the company’s transformation and growth during that period, improving operational execution and enhancing value to Solomon’s clients.
Prior to that, Eric was the Vice President, Chemicals Business for Solomon, having served previously as Olefin Study Senior Manager. Eric joined Solomon in 2018 as Senior Advisor in their Chemical Industry practice.
Eric spent the foundational years of his career with ExxonMobil Corporation, where he rose through a progression of manufacturing, engineering, and planning roles in their petrochemical and refining businesses. He subsequently worked for Aspen Technology in various consulting and strategy leadership roles, helping operators across the energy value chain improve business performance via the application of advanced technologies.
Eric has a passion for cultivating winning organizations, fostering innovative client solutions, and driving creative go-to-market strategies. His collaborative leadership style, combined with his deep business insight and unrelenting commitment to excellence, enables sustainable value creation for both enterprises and their clients.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, and he completed the Executive Development Program at Babson College.
JOSEPH WEBER
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Joseph is the Chief Administrative Officer at Solomon. In this role, he leads the finance and accounting functions and provides support for the other administrative areas of the business. Joseph joined Solomon in 2018 as the Vice President (VP) of Administrative Services.
Prior to joining Solomon, Joseph was VP and Corporate Controller for Alsbridge, Inc., an IT and business process outsourcing and advisory firm. During his 25-year career, he has held various finance and accounting leadership positions with business services, consulting, and technology companies including Information Services Group, Affiliated Computer Services, and Fannie Mae.
Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois and is a licensed Texas Certified Public Accountant.
TRACY ELLERINGTON
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, REFINING & LOGISTICS
Tracy Ellerington is the Senior Vice President, Refining and Logistics, at Solomon Associates. Tracy’s is responsible for Solomon’s benchmarking studies in Refining and Midstream areas as well as for the consulting projects executed with clients in these sectors.
With more than 30 years of experience in the oil refining business, Tracy has experience in operations, cost reduction, and performance improvement. Tracy started her career working with Esso Petroleum Ltd at their Fawley UK refinery. Prior to joining Solomon, Tracy spent 17 years with KBC Process Technology Ltd, where she was responsible for conducting numerous optimization and improvement consulting assignments in a wide range of globally to improve performance, reduce costs and optimize their operations.
Tracy has a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University, UK. And is a UK Chartered Chemical Engineer as a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
ATTILIO DONARELLI
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF SOLUTIONS DELIVERY
Attilio Donarelli serves as Senior Vice President of Solutions Delivery at Solomon Associates, where he leads the global execution of consulting and benchmarking services.
Since joining Solomon in 2018, he has directed major engagements that deliver strategic insights and operational improvements across integrated value chains. With over 30 years of industry experience, Attilio has worked extensively across the globe. With focus over Europe and the Middle East. His expertise spans operations planning and optimization, strategic investment analysis, process engineering, and refinery operations.
Attilio is a UK Chartered Chemical Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). He holds a Master of Business Administration from Open University (UK) and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Palermo University, Italy.
JESSICA CARPENTER
VICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCT & TECHNOLOGY
Jessica Carpenter is Vice President of Product and Technology at Solomon. In this role, she oversees a broad portfolio including Product Management, Digital Strategy, Digital Development, IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Marketing, and Document Production functions. Jessica joined Solomon in 2022 and served as the Head of Product Management prior to her current role.
Jessica has over 20 years in the process industry with experience ranging from industries such as specialty and commodity chemicals, upstream, asset integrity, and enterprise industrial software sales. Before joining Solomon, Jessica held roles at Honeywell, Nalco, and AspenTech spanning product management, marketing, sales, and digital innovation.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Methodist University.
