Vikrant Chopra - Senior Advisor

Vikrant Chopra brings deep expertise in refinery optimization, margin improvement, and process engineering. Vikrant is an expert in using benchmarking methodologies and data analytics to drive operational excellence. With over two decades of industry experience, he has developed strong technical acumen in hydroprocessing, catalyst technology, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and biofuels, supported by hands-on experience with process simulation and design optimization tools across multiple refineries globally.

His career includes senior roles at Shell PLC, Technology/Project Manager at LanzaJet Inc., and Senior Process Engineer at IndianOil's Mathura Refinery, with a proven track record managing capital projects exceeding 200 million USD across the full project development life cycle. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, graduating First Rank in his department, and is a certified HAZOP professional with an IPMA Level D Certification in Project Management.
