Speaker: Michael Achacoso

Mike Achacoso is Vice President for Solomon’s global Refining and Logistics Business Unit. He has more than 32 years of downstream industry experience. During his career, Mike has worked in both domestic and international locations, including the United States, Asia/Pacific, and Canada. His expertise ranges from refinery operations to strategic planning, economics, and commercial.

Mike has held numerous leadership positions, including Technical Manager, Maintenance Manager, EH&S Manager, Planning & Economics Manager, Operations Manager, Refinery Manager, Vice President – Refining, and Vice President – Fuels Marketing. Prior to Solomon, he worked for ExxonMobil, TotalEnergies, Syncrude Canada Ltd., Sinclair Oil, and HollyFrontier. Mike holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from the University of Wyoming.
